dj Sisco

Who would even think that a day in detention at middle school would end up leading to a dream? The principal came in to detention to have Sisco help the DJ set up for the after school dance. After setting up Sisco stayed and watched in total amazement, wondering if this was something he could do? "I started carrying records around for a couple DJ's and playing on the tables at the beginning of the shows." After 3 years DJ Sisco he had became a successful mobile DJ and started to perform for some large night clubs. At age 15 DJ Sisco was the resident DJ at a club called Charlie’s in Muncie Indiana . Then at 17 DJ Sisco was headlining at club full of Ball State University Students. In 1999 DJ Sisco took over that small town night club in Muncie, Indiana and turned it around to be in the top 5 night clubs in the U.S. (October 1999, Playboy Magazine). He started getting calls from surrounding cities. Performing in clubs such as The Vogue, On Cue and doing some shows with radio station 93.1 in Indianapolis. It was time for a move, so DJ Sisco packed his things and moved to the city of Indianapolis to start performing for The Velvet Lounge and Club Vapor. The world then really started moving fast and he was getting called to many other places in Illinois and Ohio.

In 2004 DJ Sisco was live on 104.1 WLBC and the headlining DJ for Muncie Mardi Gras in front of 15,000 people. “Of course I was nervous, but then I put the needle on the record and it happened. The world stopped and the music kept going!” Now comes more articles. DJ Sisco was a full page article in Up 2 Date Magazine as the newest rising DJ in the area. 2005 he was offered a residency spot in Tampa Florida. With no hesitation, he packed up and moved to the south. Still his fans from home were calling. Platinum Events flew DJ Sisco up to be the headlining DJ for the White Tour. Once again a full page article was done in the news paper in Bloomington Indiana . 2007 Chris Carter (formally a DJ for 104.1 WLBC) brought him back to headline for a big show in Terre Haute . Once again he was in front of thousands of people. 2008, DJ Sisco was in front of St Pete Times Forum performing for the XFC in a DJ Battle. 2009 DJ Sisco was named the official hip hop chart creator for Music Mayhem Magazine.  He is already booked as a special guest for what is being called the Biggest Battle of the Bands in Florida in April 2010 at The Ritz Theatre Ybor City.  He is the tour DJ for recently signed hip hop artist "Saxx".  Grammy nominated music producer Danny Cheung has labeled DJ Sisco's mixes as really smooth transactions.  Now he has signed to be the Official Arena DJ for the Tampa Bay Breeze Lingerie Football League (http://www.lflus.com/tampabreeze/).

Sheldon Blake

Born and raised in Hollywood California, Sheldon Blake would stay in the magic shop for hours watching the same show over and over trying to figure out how each trick was done.  This is where his passion for entertaining began.  Hollywood breeds a rare sort of entertainer; with unmatchable dedication to their art and passion for their audiences.  When the other kids were out playing soccer or practicing the piano, Sheldon was out in parks and plazas trying to perfect his magic skills in front of whoever would watch.

During his travels, Sheldon came across the art of balloon sculpting, which he found utterly fascinating. Something about being able to manipulate a linear object to make whatever he wanted was incredible; he was hooked.

While attending school, he worked at different hospitality establishments.  In 2003 he did my first big magic show on Carnival Cruise Lines for 1000 people. It was the most exhilarating experience of his entire life.

In October of 2003, Sheldon was hired as a seasonal performer at Busch Gardens, Tampa. When the season ended, he spent the next five years traveling and entertaining the world to see all the beauty and cultures it has to offer. In the summer of 2008, he worked at a summer camp in Colorado teaching magic to children, learning something himself in the experience. “Performing for kids kept me grounded; I found more confidence in myself through their enthusiasm.”

He returned to Busch Gardens in the Fall of 2008 to perform as a stilt walker for the night shows, where he has continued to amaze audiences of all sizes and kinds. In late 2009 Sheldon became a resident entertainer at Jacksons in Tampa Florida as a stilt walker, magician, balloon sculptor and more. In January and February 2010, he participated as a stilt walker in the Gasparilla Invasion Day Parade and the Gasparilla Night Parade.  Learn more at www.SheldonBlake.com.

Christie

Christie Diana grew up surrounded by performing arts and was inspired to become a dancer after finding out that her mother had been one in her past. Christie began her training at a young age in traditional Chinese dance. After yearning to learn more, she ventured into tap and later began professionally training at Pofahl Studios in Florida in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, hip hop, and acrobatics when she was 12. She was told that starting this type of training at this age would prove nearly impossible to become a professional dancer. Determined to prove skeptics wrong, after two years of training, Christie began to perform with the corps de ballet with "Dance Alive National Ballet", professional ballet touring company in Florida in such pieces as East of the Sun, West of the Moon, Carmina Burana, and The Nutcracker.

In college, Christie began to branch out and study pas de deux, ballroom dance, salsa, afrojazz, and musical theatre, as well as continuing her other disciplines of dance. She has been under the training of world renowned dancer and choreographer, Alberto Alonso, the creator of the ballet Carmen. She was also fortunate to train under Brian Brooks of Broadway Dance Center in New York and Earl Mosley. To add to her credits, she has recently also branched out into choreography and has set her goal to make it into Cirque du Soleil. Stemming out from her love to perform, she began go-go dancing at clubs that exemplified her love of electronica, house, and trance music. She has previously been a go-go dancer at Lotus and Spannk, and is now about to set out on a new venture with DJ Teresa of Tampa, FL at the 2010 Winter Music Conference and in Ibiza, Spain over the coming Summer.
